Each Revolution filter is color coded to allow for quick and easy identification and made with Kase’s KW Optical glass. KW Optical glass features double-sided waterproof nano-coating and low color cast, as well as a toughened shock resistant coating to help create a highly durable and easy to care for filter.
The ND filters create an equal darkening of the entire image which can help to balance out light and result in a more desirable photo. With higher stop ND filters, you can use a longer shutter speed and allow more light to enter the lens without washing out the image and doing so can help to capture movement in the picture such as flowing water or clouds moving across the sky, resulting in a smooth flow of water or soft cloud covering.
